C liff Robinson continues to get th e strong favorite to w in the N B A ’s Sixth M an Award heading into the final m onth o f the 1992-93 season. H is nam e is also being m entioned prom inently for the league’s M ost Im proved Player Award. Robinson has been the Trail Blaz e rs’ top player consistently through out the season. He ranks second on the team in scoring (19.0) and rebound ing (6.8), first in blocked shots (1.87) and fourth am ong the regulars in field goal shooting (.479). His 31.2 m in utes played average ranks fourth-even though h e’s started only 10 o f 68 c o n te s ts . He h as o u ts c o re d an d outrebounded all o f his com petitors for the Sixth M an Award. T h e f o u rth - y e a r f o rw a rd is m a ltin g a strong bid to become the second Blazer in five years to top the balloting for the Most Improved Play er Award.
